The Olympic Park comprises many venues including the Olympic Stadium, the Athletes Village with   almost 3,000 apartments and dining areas, Westfield Stratford City the UK’s largest Shopping Centre, the London Underground ticket halls, the International Media Centre, plus many other venues.

Instead of each building having its own boilers and refrigeration equipment a District Heating & Cooling Network has been installed to serve these buildings providing environmental benefits and efficiency to the development.

Control House was chosen to design and manufacture the control panels and develop the complex software. The scope of the project comprises of over fifty local control systems installed in over fifty plant rooms around the Olympic Park.

These individual systems are connected via a fibre network back the two energy centres where over 75,000 data values are presented for monitoring purposes.
